It's crucial to maintain accurate user information in your Anthill account to ensure that the right individuals receive the appropriate messages. Removing employees who have left your organization is essential for this purpose.
Accessing User Management:
- Log into Anthill.
- On the left navigation menu, click on "Users", then select "Employees".
Removing Employees Individually:
- To remove an individual employee, locate them on the Employees page. You can use the search function in the upper right corner to find them quickly.
- Click on the employee's name to open their record.
- In the bottom left corner of the employee's record, locate the "Status" option.
- Change the status from "Active" to "Inactive".
- Click "Save" to deactivate the employee.
Deactivating employees rather than deleting them ensures that you can still receive messages from them if necessary, such as inquiries about final paychecks or other post-employment matters.
Removing Employees in Bulk:
- To remove multiple employees at once, navigate to the Employees page.
- Click on the "Export" button at the top of the page to download a CSV file containing all employee information.
- Edit the CSV file to change the status of the employees you wish to remove from "Active" to "Inactive".
- Save the edited CSV file.
- Return to the Employees page and click on the "Import" button.
- Upload the edited CSV file.
- This process will deactivate multiple employees simultaneously.
